Privacy policy

Last updated 19 August 2026

KREWGO is a community app for car enthusiasts. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read.

What we collect

KREWGO does not ask for or use your device location. Distance is worked out from a postal code you type in, so the app never requests GPS access. Your postal code is never attached to anything you post and is never shown to other members — marketplace listings are placed by the city you choose, never an address.

We do not sell your data to anyone, and we do not use trackers that follow you across other apps or websites. KREWGO is free to use, and sponsored slots and future advertising are how the server and database bills get paid — anything paid for is clearly marked as sponsored.

Why we collect it

To run the app: to show your posts to the right people, put you in the right regional chat, deliver notifications you asked for, show marketplace listings near you, and let admins act on reports.

Who can see what

Where it lives

Data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore, Storage, Authentication) and is subject to Google Cloud's security and processing terms.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account at any time from Settings inside the app. That removes your profile, posts, marketplace listings, notifications, and private settings, and takes you out of every crew and chat. It cannot be undone. To request a copy of your data first, email support@krewgo.app from your account address.

Children

KREWGO is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will say so in the app before the change takes effect.
